Through simple commitments and decisions, we can all contribute to making our world better and healthier.
Destroy District takes care!
For some time now, we have witnessed a real revolution in the field of textiles with the arrival on the market of organic cotton.
We decided to participate in this revolution as well. 90% of our items are based on organic cotton and most of it is made up of 100%. You can check this by consulting the technical sheet available on the page of each article.
Water based inks
Our items are printed with water based inks. These inks are certified Oeko-Tex.
Oeko-Tex is a global certification system aimed at reducing the chemical substances contained, inter alia, in the objects of our everyday life.
We also offer items made from recycled materials, when this option is technically possible.
For example, our bags are made with 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester. We limit the overproduction and the volume of waste.
Printed in France
It is in Haute-Savoie, on the shores of Lake Geneva and 10km from Geneva, that the items available on Destroy District are printed with passion in our workshop equipped 100% by French suppliers.
We buy our textile articles from exclusively European suppliers. All, without exception, are labeled by the Fair Wear Foundation.
The FWF is a globally active foundation. It grants label only to manufacturers meeting strict standards and conditions, including:
- Safety and health of employees in workshops
- Minimum wage
- No child work
- No forced labor
- Gender parity
- Controlled hours
- Right of representation
